Hi! I'm Erin, owner and founder of Up & Away Literacy. As a mom and reading specialist, I know summer can be full of good intentions — and also full of real-life challenges. These boxes were created to make reading practice easier on families and more effective for kids.
A Little About Me...
I've been teaching kids how to read for over 20 years! I've taught second grade, third grade, and worked as an elementary reading specialist serving kids in grades K-3. I am certified in the Orton Gillingham method, and have CALP (Certified Academic Language Practitioner) and SLD-I (Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist) certifications. I'm passionate about helping children become confident, successful readers and supporting teachers and families of developing readers!
