Hi, I'm Erin!
Founder and Owner of Up & Away Literacy
I'm a reading specialist with more than 20 years of experience. I've taught 2nd grade, 3rd grade, worked as an elementary reading specialist, and now support struggling readers in grades K-3. I am an Orton-Gillingham certified instructor (CALP) and a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist (SLD-I).
Helping children learn to read is something I care deeply about. I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when a child finally feels confident with reading—and how life-changing that moment can be.
I love partnering with families and teachers to support children as they grow into confident readers who believe in themselves. My goal is simple: to help children experience success and find joy in readng.
