Heart Word Flashcards

Help your child practice heart words with this set of 200 flashcards. These easy-to-print cards contain just the heart word so that your child can mark the heart part(s) of the word. Involving them in this process will help the learning "stick" so that they master reading heart words faster.

Have your child use a red marker, stickers, or a stamp to make it even more exciting! After the word is marked with the heart part(s), hole punch and add to a ring, along with the included cover card. These are great to take on-the-go for practice anywhere!


Important Note:

We haven’t placed hearts on any of the Heart Word Flashcards. This is to give you the flexibility to mark/code the heart words according to whether the “heart part” is truly irregular, or is decodable based on the phonics skills your child knows. The benefit of not placing hearts on the materials is that you can use these flashcards with children of all ages, no matter their phonics level!
